Our Mission & Purpose
Through a story of immense pain and suffering, The Cole Ellis Foundation was established to be a beacon of light in the darkness and a catalyst for helping those experiencing heartbreak. The Cole Ellis Foundation honors a remarkable life that was well lived, but gone far too soon. As a result, our mission is to place those in crisis in counseling and assist those in need of financial aid with counseling services.
Through the Cole Ellis Foundation, we are experiencing firsthand that the Lord’s light can in fact heal brokenness.

Get to know our foundation
In memory of our precious son, Cole, we want to encourage others going through struggles or tragedies to seek help in fighting for life, healing and HOPE. The grief from Cole’s death threatened to implode our family and the lives of so many. God gave us insight immediately that counseling and being intentional about choosing light each day would be our only chance of moving forward. Our family was in counseling within two weeks of Cole’s death. It was not easy or comfortable, but without it we would not be moving forward in this journey of HOPE and healing. The gift of counseling in the midst of our journey on this earth is just that- a gift. God has so much more for each of us than we can possibly imagine. Our prayer is that the Cole Ellis Foundation can be a light and symbol of hope for those families or individuals in crisis or grief.
